Hi and welcome!

You're not new any more! I'm going to move your post to the Evo forum, there you will have a better chance of getting your questions answered. Thanks!

What are your goals? I'd just leave it alone since there are better mods you can do. Do you plan on going speed density in the future or you staying with a maf setup? You won't gain much from changing it as they are all more or less the same. My $.02.

I'd like to do speed density, but don't you have to tune it to that?

If you plan on going speed density then you most definitely will need to retune your car. You will also have a lot of options as far as what filter and piping you want to run.

just keep it. SD is not really a must if maf is fine.

In the long run if I was planning on putting 500 whp then would getting SD be worth it?

You will be buying an aftermarket turbo for that goal and likely won't stick with an intake designed for OEM turbo.

im in the same boat as you. I just have a drop in filter. If you'll looking to get a new turbo, I would just hold off on the intake for now until you decide to get a bigger turbo. That way you dont go buying two different intake setups, if that makes since
