NEED HELP! Rpm Spike

Need some help trying to figure out a problem I'm having with my car, it's a 2003 evo 8, after full boost through out gears 1-3 the Rpms seem to suddenly spike up as soon as I engage the clutch to change gear, what could it be ? Possible throttle hang? Boost/air leak? Clutch problem?

Thank you any advice would be appreciated

No, the cars Rpms actually increase at a normal rate, the problem is only seen after I disengage full boost, mainly when I engage the clutch to change gears, the Rpms spike up

Then the only explanation I could think of is sticking throttle.

Same thing happens to my evo! when WOT shifting in the upper revs, I always get that spike. Like I'm still on the throtle

Clutch is OK on my car, so must be something else

Just run a quick log of 3rd gear, open the log and look at rpm cell vs tps cell.

That will answer your question.

Will do that over the weekend.

If it is in fact a sticking throttle, what needs to be done?
