I got the quotes from Speed Element ($7K-$10K)in San Jose and FFTEC ($10K) in Hayward.

Thanks, I shot them an email and they quoted $2K for hand honing and new pistons or the option of around $5K for block removal, honing, and new pistons/ring. Definitely more reasonable.
