External dumps do make power but I had one on my DSM with a big turbo and I wasn't a big fan of the noise. So with the evo I wanted to switch it up and keep it more refined. And the sound of the dump doesn't over power the sound of spooling



Thanks for the info, ill look into wrapping it. Any issues with creep? and do you have the manifold too?
No problem man. No issues on the stock turbo or stock manifold.

Oh nice, I thought you meant you were the first to post pictures of this downpipe lol I started doubting my forum searching skills haha

I have Tomei, V1, and its superb system made to OEM quality standards and beyond
Including O2 housing block brace provision which is critical for reliability

There is virtually no power in big downpipe on stock or stock frame turbo...lots of marketing bs..
So going with something built to OEM fit finish quality is key.
