Getting ready to install New FP green HTA 73
Hey everyone,
I am about to change out my Evo9 turbo for Fp freen HTA 73. My goals with the car is hoping to make ard 470 - 480 Whp on E85. I have all the basic bolt on plus S2 cams. I am also currently running ID1000cc, would these support the power level i am hoping to make? Also i will be changing out my 255 walbro for a 450 pretty soon.
My car is currently making 381Whp and 382Tq .All your input would be appreciated and the guys out there running this turbo how is it working out for you and what injectors are you running thanks again.
Oh the car will be tuned with a dual map 93 octane and E85.

I believe My tuner told me they will be good up to ard the 480whp range but i wanted to hear from the ppl here that is making that power level with this particular tubo. But thanks man!!
I'm currently being tuned with same Turbo and same cams, but with PTE 1200's and at 485 whp we are seeing close to 80% duty cycle. So yes your injectors are too small. Good choice on fuel pump though it'll keep up just fine.
Yeah thanks, thats exactly where i wanna be. I hope the 450 walbro can compensate for my small ID1000 lol .
I think ID1000s would be close to max at 480 on hi-octane gas, but with the 30% extra volume that you need running E85, you're out of fuel volume with the ID1000s. The 450 will be pushing it, too. The pump won't help because you'd have to be running much higher pressure to get the extra volume, and the flow/pressure chart for the 450 does not support that volume at high pressure...
The turbo will be fine, though. I'm running the DBB Green at 482HP at 24 PSI on a 2.1L, and ran out of pump at 24 PSI on E85 with a HP255 and ID2000s.

It's the modded 255, and wired direct to a trunk mounted battery, but yeah, the volume was dropping...
If you have Sean doing your tuning, you should be just fine...
agree
I agree that on e85 your going to be at the ragged edge of your pants of running out of injector. Personally with what money you have in the game I would have them install bigger ones before tuning... You don't want to spend the money in the tune to only have them say "yeah we couldn't take it all the way where you wanted to because your injectors held us back, come back for bigger injectors and ANOTHER TUNE"...

. I will try and look around for some bigger injectors since i would hate to have to pay twice to tune.
