Thought fp stopped making a stock frame turbo. From what I understand, fp turbo come with a ss housing that requires a custom downpipe. Please correct me if I'm wrong

They have a limited quantity of MHI housings on hand. You can get a JB green, red, or black for $1599. BB add a grand.

They seem to have "limited run offers" on the MHI housings once or twice a year.

their cast o2 housing mates up to a stock location 3" downpipe also.
i have one on my car. other than it being heavier than my ex gf, it fit well and does its job.
they include the appropriate flange so you have the option of sawing off the flange on your existing downpipe and welding that one on. Stock turbos have a smaller pipe size but same bolt pattern

My issue is that I dont want to cut and weld anything. I'm just looking for a direct bolt on. Remove my stock turbo and bolt up the new one

You have the option to cut and weld if you want to...doesn't mean you absolutely have to.

The blouch stuff is just the old CBRD stuff. if you want reviews on the 1.0XT/XTR just google the BBK Full. And no MHI never made their own turbo replacement for the 4G63. Technically the 18k is only manufactured by MHI, it was designed and tested by FP.

HKS, Tomei, Blouch, and Owen Developments. Personally, I am not a fan of the HKS and Tomei offerings.

For my money, I would go Blouch or Owen Developments.

No cut/weld required. Works with the new stainless singe scroll housing; uses existing downpipe and includes the dump tube. OR you can get one with the currently available MHI housings.

i had to replace the flange on my downpipe. if its a 'true 3 inch' downpipe im sure you will be fine. my car happened to have some cheap crap wanna be 3" meagan (i think) down pipe that was actually about 2.5 at the flange but 3" everywhere else
