Muse Intercooler Piping question

Hey there I've recently done a massive overhaul of this here evo, I finally got the intercooler mounted after being cleaned up and it appears neither of the lower intercooler pipes want to line up even remotely close, do I have something wrong here??

Any help would be appreciated. I have looked at all the pictures of this installed and they all look like they line up just fine, did I get a wrong piece maybe?

Threads are useless without pics so...

I think ETS makes an UICP specifically for the Magnus Intake Manifold. I am not surprised the MUSE one (which is likely made for the stock intake) is not fitting your Magnus.

I had bought all new silicone, none of the supplied from vrsf is being used, I would really not enjoy paying 500$ for an ets setup, lol. Thanks for the heads up

It doesn't fit because it's not designed for your manifold. You're going to need to change the manifold, or buy a pipe kit designed for it.

Why the stock intercooler with a Magnus intake? Seems a little backwards...

Would a different intercooler fit better in my situation? I just got a great deal on the intake manifold and had the pipes before I bought the intake manifold. Im sure I can cut that piece Nd make it work for much cheaper than 500$, if there is an upgraded fmic that would save me the hassle though that would be great!

That kit looks like it's for the Magnus cast intake manifold, mine is the sheetmetal, and doesn't have that weird angle to it.

Maybe your just going to have to cut and bead roll that lower piece. I know I had to buy a 30 degree bend on my muse short rout where the 2 pipe connect from siliconeintakes.com but fitment was great. I could even fit a miata battery with the stock orientation

A different intercooler wouldn't fit better.

I'm just says it seems silly to upgrade the manifold when you have a stock intercooler, and very likely a stock turbo.

Thank you! Actually I figured out the bottom piece is totally fine, the top piece is just one inch too wide at the top and 2.5 inches too long at the bottom. Thanks everyone! Will be getting this cut and beaded tomorrow!

Yeah it is, I just haven't come across a killer intercooler deal yet, as soon as I do, it will be happily upgraded, lol. Also, definitely a stock turbo.

Update! The muse uicp works great now, I just had an inch cut off the top half of the upper pipe and re beaded and 2.5" on the bottom, fits like a glove! 20$ saved the day, haha.

I disagree with most people on here. I am currently running the muse on the AMS intake manifold and it bolted up fine. I too got a great deal I can't recall where from on black friday like 2 years ago now. However it pushes out to where yours is. I believe the issue is the stock intercooler. Worst case you can pay an exhaust shop 30-40 bucks to bend it which is what i would do.

I am currently running a muse short route with stock bov but piping is the same. Running a 3.5 ETS intercooler with no issues like you. I believe any intercooler other then stock should work. If you look at your bend it is wanting a straight pipe from the intercooler. ETS AMS even godspeed looks like it will work.
