advise on intake system

Hi evo m family. I have a evo 9 jdm mr which has acd i bought a fp zero turbo and i got a sealed catch can as well. But i need an alimnium intake that has a bung on it for the catch can to be connected to it. Secondly i got my made with the maf adapter but the pipe is really short like really short. I use to have a fp black turbo with fp 84 mm intake that time no catch can was not involved. Now i am stuck cause i need a long aliminium pipe with a bung. The one i have now is very short and i cant use back the fp intake cause it the bung cant be welded on a silcone pipe. Whats your best advise for me. Little more info to help u is that my intercooler piping runs on top on the intake not below the intake. The fp intake is the best bet with maf, but need an aliminium peeps. Help me out. Thanks.

I would strongly advise you to go with an intake that does not recirculate the catchcan, you dont want vaporized oil in your intake system... your ic and pipes get soaked in oil and when it makes its way into the combustion champer, you'll encounter knock sooner therefore limiting power, (correct me if im wrong people). but yeah, I believe sealed 2 port catch can would be ideal for you.

I understand, they also recommended my their sealed catchcan but online you have the option of choosing how many ports you want. I would choose 2, because the 3rd one routes it back to the intake, and i dont like that lol

FP recommends a sealed catch can setup with their turbos, that is routed back to the intake. In fact, they told me over the phone that it can lead to turbo failure, but let's not turn this thread into another FP turbo failure, oil thread. What would pull the blowby, vapor, etc under boost? The OP is in the right direction. I made my own 4 inch intake. I had a -6 welded into it, then used a -6 to 3/8 barb to be able to attach the hose from my catch can. I believe they make silicone nipples for your application. Try spectre.com or call FP.

I have no idea, but that's what they said. Getting an FP turbo is like the first day of kindergarten because there's so many rules to learn.
