Afr's are funny

Ok so when im driving and let off of the gas it should go all the way lean because theres no fuel. But when I let off the gas it goes to about 12.0 rich then the guage reads --- and I have looked and looked to see if i can find anyone else with this problem and I havent. Need help on what to look for.

if it goes rich for a split second then completely lean on pedal tip-outs then that is not a problem. It is a strategy to smooth out the transition from positive into negative torque.

Not sure how much the stock ecu is disassembled to show these calibrations, but in the after market ecu world, you would have complete control on the enrichment percentage, spark retard and time interval of occurrence.

What was said above. The --- on the gauge means it's at full lean.
