Front o2 code comes back on after new o2 instal. Need help.

Hey guys.
Car runs like poo from 1-2k rpm then runs decent. Throws Code p0134 for Heated oxygen sensor front circuit no activity detected even after we put a new denso o2 in. Clear the code and it comes back within roughly 5 miles of driving. Sometimes within 5 min of just idling.
What would cause it to do this?
Thanks

Possibly a silly suggestion, but you disconnected the battery for a bit correct after the new o2 sensor install?

Was the sensor a splice in, or plug in?

my car throws the same code, but hasn't affected its driveability. At this point I think the connection from the plug to the ecu is damaged and needs to be rewired.

Got a leaner base map from my tuner. Car runs way better but same code comes back on working 5 min of driving the car. Bought a brand new denso front o2 sensor aswell.
Any one got any ideas where to look?

I got this code after following directions on here for disabling the rear o2 sensor, and it ran poorly at low rpm. I just reversed what I did and deal with the rear o2 cel so it at least runs right.

Also, why is your tuner giving you base maps? Shouldn't he be tuning it?

Quick Reply: Front o2 code comes back on after new o2 instal. Need help.
