Hey everyone,
im fairly new to the evo world. Common similarities to Honda engines the only difference is if a honda blows up its much cheaper to repair or find a block. I would rather learn and ask questions then take a stab in the dark so please bare with me.

I am considering a built bottom end, my 2003 evo 8 has 180k on the block and still hurting feelings (proper maintenance is Key). I know everyone is all about Buschur and AMS or even JAM short blocks but has anyone heard of WSRD? i ask because im not looking at making over 500 HP, they are local and have made their mark @ DSM Shootout year in year out. Any Input would help-

I've only heard good things, when dealing with John he has been great

 

im not building a race car or a car that will see anything over 500-550whp.

just looking for opinions
