Gains / difference of T4 twin scroll & v-band

I am debating on getting a T4 twin scroll PTE 6870 or a v-band super 94 turbo kit.

Why does STM and Boostin performance run v-band or t3 setups? what are the benefits with large of a turbo and using a t3 or v-band flange?

Wouldnt a T4 twin scroll setup make more power / be more efficient with that size turbo?

How does this have anything at all to do with the question asked? I hate to be another person to reply with no real input but seriously.

The twin scroll will help to make more torque sooner and with a properly sized housing will make great top end power. Open scroll is just less complex, one wastegate and more mounting options. It will also spool slower, so if you are a drag car you do not care about anything under 5k. Road racing is a different story.

So really it is all about what you are doing with the car.

I am on a .63 tial vband on my 3586 and make great power and torque. 20psi at 4300rpm in 3rd

Actually, the implication here is that with this particular housing you can actually have the best of both worlds - a twin-scroll v-band housing.

So, you get all the convenience, compactness, and ease of the v-band set-up with the improved spool response of the twin-scroll set-up.

Looks like a sweet piece to me!

Looks quite restrictive for the size of housing. Not sure how you would do the exhaust manifold either.

And yet another way would be to utilize a T4 setup with a QuickSpool Valve.
