Engine carnage pics.

I recently bought a evo8 with a bad engine. I was hoping that the block and head was salvageable but after further inspection that's not gonna happen. Unsure what happened the previous owner claimed it jus stopped running as he was driving normal

I think it may use a bit of oil

Damn, those NE cars are looking rough with the road salt. PNW uses gravel so we get lots of rock chips but no rust to deal with.

That's Oregon for the lucky ones living there. Washington and especially British Columbia use salt ...

That's fairly bad. Had a local here drop a valve or two doing "normal driving". However the car continued to run for a bit with **** bouncing around inside there. Not sure if he is telling the truth or not about the driving, but the failure was a gsc beehive spring.
