Exedy Twin Disc issue

Hey guys, so I thought id see if any of you guys have ever had this issue before.

its very hard for me to explain really, but ill try my best

has anyone ever had a issue with this clutch where at times, for me, I would have different clutch engagement points, I think its mostly noticeable when its hot.

pedal has been adjusted and I have in a pull / push system already, so no slave cylinder.

one moment the clutch engages at the top of the pedal travel, e.x just before you take your foot off the pedal, then another time, id have the clutch pedal pressed to the floor and as I am engaging the clutch, half way up it starts engaging (clutch starts to bit near middle when pedal is travelling back upwards to engage clutch, which is a lot earlier than original) then the car will start rolling and then you will feel the clutch suddenly disengage, car stops its rolling momentum, and then it would reengage as I get to the top of the pedal travel where it is expected to engage.

hard to explain but I hope u guys can understand what im trying to say

Need to polish the towers of the basket. Mine did that. Took it back out, polished the towers, and it went away. I know what you mean though. It will randomnly have a soft engagement point that is much lower in the pedal travel than the actual hard engagement point.

It'll be fine. Just make sure its not causing the trans to be difficult to shift. If it starts doing that you can hurt the synchro's.
