STM Sealed Catch Can - Intake Pipe Pictures needed
Hopefully this thread will eventually help people with the orientation of the intake pipe line.
I have everything else 100% installed, but cant for the life of me figure out how to get 10 inches of fittings(check valve and all) in here nicely.
Is the check valve needed? - If so why? The intake pipe should 100% of the time be under vacuum?
Second - for those of you that did install it - WHERE did you put everything?
Everything I try makes the hoses kink, or is just god awful to look at.

If you have a recirc BOV, you need the check valve. The two I installed were on SD cars, so I left the check valve out, and jus did a loop towards the frame rail then back to the intake pipe. Luckily both cars had short route IC piping, or it would have really been a pain lol

You need the check valve in line or else the intake can suck air in through the previous PCV location. Idle would be high/uncontrollable
I specifically asked STM and got the answer to that one.
I was able to route it just like you said, but I will need a 90, not a 45 off the intake pipe. 45 just makes it too kinked.

Had to turn the BISS screw in, but other wise both cars idled fine.

My Intake Tube doesn't have any ports I run a line from the side of VC to CC Inlet. Then just a filter on the outlet of the CC.
Can catches hardly anything but a film in the media and on the can walls.
Run the same set up in my DD has a GDI-T engine those things really need catch cams badly. That is the standard CC set up on that platform.
Hell we've all seen 100's of Evos with just a filter on VC side port lol. I'm thinking I'm picking up a sealed STM unit though heard nothing but great feedback

Let me tell you this is the best catch can in my opinion. i have had it for about 8 months now and i have yet to see more than 1 drop of oil come out of it. When i installed it i did have to mess with the biss screw because of the idle but it works great. if you have any question message me and i can help u out

Yes its a "leak", but nothing turning in the BISS screw didn't solve. Both car comes down to 1200, then settle at 1000. Perfectly fine. I saw no way of fitting that huge check valve in there, and the kit didn't come with enough hose or the right fitting to do it the way I would have done it, so I left it out. If the BISS screw can't get it down, you always play with the ISCV step tables in the rom. Much easier than trying to fit that check valve in there.
My car doesn't really have any issues either, and it has a similar setup, except my "pcv" valve flows even more.
