I know this may be a dumb question but i need advice... my evo has a turbo setup on it that was originally put on it circa '05-'08 as far as i know. It has a 44mm tial wastegate (2 bolt flange) which means the o2 housing and down pipe are all that 2 bolt flange.... im trying to put a new tial 44mm with a vband but cant seem to find an o2 housing that will mate up to what i have, because its also 2 bolt on the turbo side also... my question is... what is the difference between stock placement and bottom mount.. ive done numerous google searches and found ZERO answers. Again, maybe a dumb question but i just cannot find if stock placement and bottom mount are the same or if theyre different and if so can you guys maybe recommend a way to convert over to a vband setuo for a wastegate that isnt going to break the bank?
