Post Best Rotating Assembly For FP Black/PT6262

When building, from experience, what is the best rotating assembly to go with on a VIII or IV? i've seen many but i want to know from experience. I willl be going with an FP Black or a PT6262. Car will be a daily and i dont plan on doing any autox, maybe a couple 1/4 miles passes but i just want a street monster. I plan on going E85 in the summer and 93 in the winter. Any fuel system that you guys recommend to use as "flex fuel" to where i can pump either or and choose the specific tune for it? I can keep my foot off of it but the main reason for building is because i want something that'll beat 90% of the cars in my city and to attend car meets and what not. I will not abuse it as much but i want to be able to get a little more hp in the near future. My main goal is 500AWHP-550AWHP.

On E85, your turbo selection is well above your power goals.

I would build a 2.0L, or a 2.2SLR (94mm crank, 153mm rods). A PT5858 or FP red will more better suit your power goals.

Yeah I was taking the PT5858 under consideration but i want to be able to add more in the future so i rather have the 6262 or the FP Black and push not much boost to begin with then just turn it up whenever i get tired of the 500-500 to the wheel. Another reason in waned to start small was because i will be upgrading everything else as time goes on. That way i wouldn't have to go back and buy a bigger turbo when everything was said and done.

As long as you're building the motor right along with this turbo upgrade, I would do a gen 2 6062. Its capable of more power than the standard 6262, and will spool faster.

You said you want experience, in your response... This is a bad Idea. Save and stratagize. Unless you can do everything yourself, part by part is not a very feasible goal. You will pay double and triple laber to do part by part. Build the Motor, as one, all internals at once. Build turbo, intercooler, hoses, couplers at once. Do Intake manifold and exhaust manifold with turbo if you can, but it's pretty easy to do those swaps on your own, later. Don't do stage one, then jump to stage 2, then jump to stage 3, then jump to stage 4, and then so on. You pay for labor multiple times, and parts upgrades multiple times. I could by a Lamborghini Gallardo (http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/2224132...&ul_noapp=true) for what I paid for my stage 4 build. Build is in my sig... And yes, I even did a lot of the work myself sometimes, then got lazy, and payed out the *** every time I upgraded parts. Multiple turbo's, multiple internals, multiple bolt ons, to squeeze what I could every time the *** dyno got cold... Set a goal, save, and do parts in big chunks, and pay labor once.

I would buy the 5858 to start. Since it is a Precision it will likely blow up before you want more power, so you can just have it changed to a larger unit when you rebuild it.
