net ya about 20-25 whp maybe with proper tuning due to the 10.5 instead of 9.8 and a larger compressor.

reckon its worth the money for the upgrade?

I am going to build the motor in the next year or so & going to be upgrading turbo & what not

setup in the meantime
drop in 272L kelford cams
walbro 460 pump
Bosch 1650cc injectors
running e85

SPP exhaust manifold
Greddy LS intercooler
tomei dump pipe
apexi n1 exhaust

what type of power you reckon I will be looking at ?

You can get the FP 71HTA CHRA with 84 mm compressor housing for $699 that flows about 51 lbs of air as compared to the 42-44 lbs of the MR 10.5 turbo. Since you have an VIII you will need the oil line, FP 84 mm intake and the install kit for that turbo into the VIII. Most people are very happy with the instant spool of the 71 HTA and it certainly supports up to about 400 whp esp with those supporting mods. Those injectors should be fine at that level on E85 if you have a Walbro 255.

I would wait and upgrade to the 71HTA, or something similar, as mentioned before me. I have an 05 MR, full bolt-ons, 264 cam, id1000's.. on pump gas at 23 psi I made 329/307. I'm upgrading very soon, staying stock frame.. lookin at possibly an fp turbo, or atp gtx series.
