Why is my turbosmart dual port different?

So i purchased this dual port a while back used. Been running it 50/50 vta/recirc for a while now with no issues. I just recently switched the car to speed density so i figured i'd order one of their blanking plugs to cap off the recirc side and run full vta. Turns out the blanking plug is a screw in and my ports are held in by allen head screws?

Do I just have a really old version of the dual port?

The piece you took off, held in with the 4 screws......the round part you attached to the hose unscrews from the housing.
