ATP GTX3071/3576 or EF2/3

Hello all, I'm owning 03 evo8, and as the title says im trying to decide between these 4 turbos.
I was doing some research on my own for some time already and came to conclusion between these 4 stock frame turbo setups ATP GTX3071/3576 or Blouch Dominator 2.0/3.0XTR. Both options are bb and flow around the same. The car will be running on 93 maybe in future i will switch to e85 but currently where im located my access is limited. I'm also on stock internals currently, but planing to build the motor. My goal is 430whp on pump, but also capable of 500 when i build the motor. Im looking to get turbo that can make 500 on e85 without pushing it to its limits.
I dd may car for now but im trying to build it for track, no drag. So quick spool must, and good response.
I'm writing this post of hopes you guys could help me to decide.
Thank you

My car setup is as fallow:
Ets 3.5 intercooler
Ets 2.5 licp/upicp short route with tial bov
ETS intake will be converting to SD
grimmsped ebc
FIC 850 injectors
Walbro 255
HKS carbon ti exhaust
Megan downpipe with map rec 02
Toxicfab stock frame mani
HKS 264/272 cams

Have you considered the FP route. Their stuff performs well and their are a lot of accurate results with them.

A JB red would easily achieve the goals and spool almost like stock with an MHI housing.

If you go atp, I'd recommend the 3576/3582r is they are gen 1.

I would recommend either the GEN 1 GTX3576R or BB FP MHI red. Although looking at your fuel setup you are going to run out of fuel if you try to get to 500 hp.

I would recommend 1300cc+ fuel injectors and twin Walbro 255 fuel pumps.

@Abacus thank you for your input. Yes i did, but not big fan of FP new ss housings. The MHI housing would be ideal, hovewer I dont feel like waiting 2-3 months for rebuild/upgrade.

It'll be worth the wait. Those ATP garret turbo's are laggy the few dyno graphs I've seen.

Since is hasn't been addressed yet, you'll need bigger injectors for 500whp on E85

Patience pays off . FP may take some time but they deliver.

I feel the red is a GREAT bolt on turbocharger with an MHI housing.

@abacus
What do you think of map ef3 compare fp red? Ef3 is bb turbo supposedly flows about the same as red and the results are good too.

How about gtx3071r? It is bb, not bad price for bb with garrett center cartrige, should be pretty relayable. So i guess shouldnt be that bad? But i know it doesnt perform as well lets say green as it flows Close to it.

So you guys think. That buying evo 9 turbo in good shape convert it to fp red bb or buying used jb red having it rebuild is the way to go?

Either find a good condition MHI 10.5 hotside and get a 71HTA chra, or if you want ballbearing go with the Blouch dominator 2.0XTR.

Avoid MAP turbos. They may seem like a good deal (usually because they're cheap), but they will eventually fail. MAP did not use OEM turbine housings. They sourced their turbine housings from a chinese supplier and they have wastegate flapper issues. They melt and warp and that is an issue.

Me personally I would get a 71hta and some S2 cams and call it a day. That'll make for a fun street car and pump gas setup

Supposedly only goes so far..

There are plenty of dynojet and track results for the FP line. There is also the BBK/blouch .

Its a street car so you want a turbocharger thats responsive and makes good power.
