Does anyone else HATE the Profec B 2...?

I swear this thing is a piece of ****....it spikes like a punk rock jacket....

has anyone had a profec...then switched to another BC?

if so which one?

are you running in psi or bar mode

My controller in psi mode sucks ***

it spikes like mad
but in bar mode it holds boost rock solid

im in bar mode...thats the problem....it is fine and then somedays it spikes...

You guys need to read the threads of the Profec. If you can tune it right, it will give you good gains. It's really not that hard to tune - but also beware that some of the units are plagued with a faulty diode that causes the unit to spike until you press a button (any button.. whether it's mode or the knob or whatever). Then after pressing a button, it won't ever spike.

Oh yeah, make sure that the solenoid has all the caps removed from it. A lot of people have made the mistake of keeping one of them in, which causes all sorts of problems with the unit.

Dude, after I pulled the cap off and it didn't spike for about a week and now it's back to spiking again. Of course, now it doesn't dip back down 4-5 PSI after spiking but it still isn't steady.

I placed an order with Agile for an E-Boost and I'm sending mine back to Greddy to be fixed. I'll probably just sell it after that.
