So I couldn't find royal purple 10/30 and ended up getting mobile 10/30. I was kinda sceptical about it because I've been using royal purple for the past 6 years. My engine builder recommend it btw. After putting the mobile 1 in, not even with in 5 minutes the sound started. Pulled the valve cover off and found nothing out or place. I do have a cop kit and one of the coil packs looks burnt and the top of the spark plug has black soot on it. Could it be making the sound because of a missfire? Or is it the mobile making it do this. It definitely sounds like it's in the top end. It's really loud for valve train noise. Kind of sounds like a clunking sound. Any help would be appreciated. Not a good way to start of the summer.
