This is a random thought that is kinda out there. If the problem here has to do with electrical stuff....does anyone here with the problem have a grounding kit installed on their car? Maybe there is something not sufficiently grounded or something.....electricity works in strange ways...especially with sensors.

Has anyone tried replacing the throttle body with an aftermarket one and see if that helps?

My 4th to 5th gear rpms rising issue was "fixed" after I changed all the tranny fluids (tranny, tc, and rear diff).

Any new updates?

I have the same issues. I don't think my RPMs are rising .................I would say they are lingering for a few seconds. Almost like the car has an extrememly heavy flywheel??
