2.1L dipstick 4g63 or 4g64?

2.1L dipstick 4g63 or 4g64?

i have a 2.1L engine, should i use the 4g63 dipstick that i already have or get a 4g64 dipstick?

or are they the same?

Doesnt matter... 4g63 should be fine.

should I fill the oil at the same level? I fill it till the second tab on the dipstick...the 4g64 block is 6mm taller, should it make any diffrence?

Same level fill up is fine. Just make sure to check oil level every time you take her out. Which oil are you using?

the 6mm taller is the deck height, ie from crank CL to head surface.

its a brand new build, im using the royal purple break in oil for the first 300 miles, then plan on using royal purple 10w-40 synthetic oil.

Good choice. Using the same. Did countless tuning sessions, street driving and drag. Never had a complain. Amsoil is the 2nd choice.

what about redline oil? i run 15w50 r/l now but i didn't had evo for 3 years, so might be some better choices now

Didn't had a chance to use redline engine oil. Have used it in transmission. Motul 300v is another good choice. Couple of friends are using liquiy moly 10w40.
