Hello I bought my 04 evo 8 about 5 months ago since then I have Ben having problem after problem. Since i have had the car I have switched from a tomei exhaust manifold to a stock one, switched stock turbo to a evo 9 turbo, stock intercooler piping to Injen piping, bigger intercooler, other mods already on the car are tomei BOV, tomei cam gears, sparktec COP, full exhaust. Have aem wideband and boost gauge. Now once I added the new turbo and what not the car was having high knock count CEL flashing should say car was previously tuned guy said he never changed anything so it was on 24psi. After the high knock count I turned my boost down for awhile was fine but running rich so I turned it up to 20psi was fine besides the boost leaks fixed them still rich turned to 25 psi was way better 11.2 before usually 10.5 ish. After a couple days got high knock count turned down to 20 still there tried 15 still there left it at 15 was easy on it then today wanted to see what my AFR was doing when it was knocking well now it's not knocking and runs fine. I'm assuming just need to get it in for a tune witch I'm scheduling in the morning but just wanting some opinions on it. Thanks in advance.
