ABS question

Is there any way I can verify if my abs is working properly? Apart from the abs light?

few days ago i stomped on the brake n the car slid out of control.. luckily didnt hit anything..

If you lock the brakes the pedal should buzz.

Besides a mitsubishi scanner only way is what barney said. Slam on brakes try and lock up the tires. You should feel a pulse modulated vibrstion on pedal. And your tires should not screach well if they do its not a sliding screach its a screach pause screach. On and off

what speed would u say is safe to try this 😄😩

My suggestion is make sure there's nothing in front to hit and nobody behind to hit you.

Do it in a safe area. Preferably were no one will hit you behind or you in front.

Id safe 50 mph.

Do it on gravel or grass rain etc so its easier to lock them up and a MUCH lower speed. Dont go slam on your brakes from 50 on hot tarmac with hot tires just to test ABS...

Lol, yesterday while driving, say 120KPH, some drunk dude just switched lanes infront of me without even using the signal.

Forced me to slam the brakes, the tyres did screech, nor did the car slide on one side.
does that say that my abs works? or not sufficient to tell?
