Evo 3 gear rations and options
What is a good place to start when you find out your Evo 3 gears are just too short for the upcoming mods?
Opened all threads on the subject I could find with the advanced search but all of them deal with Evo 5 and upwards.
Mainly interested in whether I can use newer Evo bits (like gear sets) and/or whole setups (like transmissions, diffs) in an Evo 3 drivetrain.

Nothing in the transmission from later Evos works in Evo 3s. Absolutely nothing.
The only "cheap" thing you can do to create longer gearing is to switch to a DSM 3.545 final drive on the front and rear diffs. Past that, you're buying aftermarket gears (PPG/PAR).
