White smoke under hard acceleration

I was viewing a car recently and after driving slowly for 5 minutes the car was opened up to "see what it had" i watched in the wing mirror and seen slight misting/white smoke haze the car behind us.

is this normal?

No its not normal. Its likely burning oil. Could be from piston rings, valve seals or turbo.

Or it's eating coolant. If it only eats coolant under boost, it's likely a head gasket issue.
