Hey everyone, I'm having a major issue with the evo I bought about 4 months ago. After sitting overnight the car refuses to start at all, it will crank fine for days fine but never actually fires.

This made me think it was possibly a sensor so i checked the output's in my power fc commander. Sure enough the PA value which is "atmospheric pressure sensor" in the manual was reading 0.00v while sitting or cranking. I assumed this was the MAP sensor, but the value above is BOST (External input pressure sensor) and it is reading voltage.

Hoping someone could chime in if they know the difference between these two sensor outputs. Does it have more than one MAP sensor? Maybe the other is an output from the powerfc's boost controller?


I'm learning about this stuff fast, but my knowledge is pretty limited and I'd love some insight.

Even if it were a bad map sensor it still start up.

You should do the basics of a no start condition.
