The build only has 6k miles on it. Everything was replaced then so I'm good there. And I was planning on marking the belt and gears with an aligning mark too.

Ive seen said kits but this thing shoots water out of the fill hole with all of the force lol

Is it coming out of the radiator cap itself of the plastic "neck" of your radiator? If it's just shooting up out of one of those I'd start with replacing that. And if it's just the cap you can still use the head gasket tester. It replaces your radiator cap when your testing your head gasket. I'm gonna assume your overheating or running hot as well then too. Although if it's coming out of the radiator, that head gasket tester may not work, just an fyi if you decide to buy it and it "passes"

Sounds to me like the gasket is blown. As for pulling the cams, you can try a shortcut. I don't like them. It always seems that something slips and then I'm reduced to doing it the FSM way. So, I suggest just figuring on that from the start.

I get what you're saying. Ill try the shortcut with marking the belt location on its respective gears and go from there. Ill still align it at TDC before i start anything just in case.

What is the FSM way?
