No start issue. Not getting fuel
Ok so evo I here. Swapped engine harness do to original was hacked. Well car wound start. Was starting before. Thought it was pump pulled it and tested it and it works fine just is quite. Car starts with starting fluid. I believe injectors aren't working. What do I trouble shoot. Idk where to even look since pump is fine.

No I haven't done a actual fuel pressure test at the rail. Car was running before I swapped the harness. I did a one for one swap when doing the harness. I did remove a aftermarket ground which are all over the bay, because it wasn't really bolted in.

Well their are only 2 fuses that deal with the fuel. In the yellow box under the hood. I've checked then they are good. I'll have to verify connections tomorrow and guess see if that ground I removed does anything

Ok been trouble shooting since I got off work. Power is getting from battery to resistor. Also getting to injector. To power is good. Checked resistance at ground wires from each injector to evo that checked good. So issue it either bad connection at ecu or a sensor telling ecu to not ground injectors. This car was just fine till I swapped the engine harness. Believe it's a sensor or bad connection at a sensor. Idk what sensor control the ecu to ground injectors.

I haven't physically verified. It does start with starting fluid. I will verify today tho. Been shooting wires last 2 days. Pigtails for injectors are getting power but evo isn't switching the ground off and on. Resistance is good.. thing is before I swapped the harness it worked fine. I unplugged cam position sensor and tried to crank it and it threw the code for the cam sensor. So it's picking it up. But doesn't guarantee it's telling the ecu to switch the ground on

was the harness you swapped to correct for your VIN? If it was working before, then you know the problem, its the new harness. So your going to need to pull up the diagrams for your year and trace out all the relevant wires and make sure they are where they are suppose to be in both sides of the harness and have continuity.

It's for a evo 8. Not sure what difference it would make. Mine's a evo 8. Yes I know it has something to do with harness change and that's what I've been trying to figure out. Trying to find trouble shooting procedures. I've been shooting wires the last few days. Idk where to go from now.
