Question Throttle position Sensor

I have an evo8 260 04 that has blowen to tps,es in 5 months can anyone help solve ths problem.

What might be causing them to blow the code is sayig tps out of range

maybe it just needs to be adjusted? do you have evoscan so you can log it and adjust accordingly?

no m8 i hav,nt its going to auto spark on friday if its not that do you no of any other things that would do this like water

It needs to be at 14.5 volts fully closed

No it's not.


It's operating range is between 0 and 5 volts.

Need to take a measurement with a meter and see what you get.

Loosen tps bolts. Connect evoscan. Watch current data. 14.5 percent closed throttle
