bad throttle position sensor?

As you can read from my previous thread https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=272519 i was having surging issues.....after unplugging my throttle position sensor, the surging stops but the downside to this is, for some reason all of my acd lights come on, so for now i can deal with a slight surge.......does anyone think driving with a small surge to 2k rpm's in neutral would be detrimental.....does anyone see why an unplugged tps would cause the acd lights to come on? also where would i buy a new sensor and is it just a screw/bolt on sensor?

Those don't go bad I wouldn't think what have you done to the car? Mods? WHat makes you think the TPS is the problem. Need more "meat" in this sandwich before we can help more.

the TPS is easy to test if you have a service manual and a digital multi meter.
