Stock extractor and downpipe max power output

Hi all,

Anyone knows how much power how much power we can get on a evo 9 with stock extractor downpipe? Due to legality issue here in my country, we cant use aftermarket parts except for catback which is quite redundant. Also do advise the biggest stock location turbo with stock exhaust.

Thanks

You can run a fp red or black. And just remove fp compressor cover badge.

And as far as manifold. You can just keep the oem manifold and have it ported by curt brown or you can diy it and it can support 450 hp. Maybe even more.

I think you can get way with downpipe and high flow cat on SG since LTA only care about your cat back is it LTA legal or not
That is from the best of my understanding

You can ship it to curt brown. Or you can port it your self. A good port job on a oem manifold is equal to or better then a fp manifold.

im not a technical person so have to send it for porting. Will look up for curt brown. Is there any significance after porting? U mentioned its better than fp manifold, in what way its better? Thanks in advance

Well porting makes the manifold runners larger which flows more air. And polishing the runners will make air run smoother.

The fp manifold is essentialy a ported oem. But still has cast imperfections. So a port and polished oem can be as good or better.

Curt brown is the leader in port work in the dsm community.

Find some LTA legal downpipe/high flow cat than
I am sure with all the EVO being scraped soon, there will be plenty of demodding

Easier said than done. It is rare and if available, extremely expensive.

Tbh, you wont even get any good power out of it if you continue to use what you have now and not want to spend some money. the restriction is mainly the downpipe and cat. Also, just modify the cat. If done properly it can pass inspection.

Even if you get the fp manifold, its not gonna make a big difference. Why not use a smaller turbo instead of using the black? You'll have more fun.

PS. you still can order hks manifold + dp which is LTA legal from GR.
