I got the regular 2.3 not the 2.3rpm and from what I’ve read and heard the r2 is better for a motor that only revs to 8500 but the s3 would be better for a higher revving stroker

with an FP Black I would prob do R2

6266 or larger I would do S3

You prob will be around 7500-8000 rpm on a 2.3 with an FP black.

I got mixed up typing on my phone I know they are a GSC product. However on a 64 I would use S3 if it was an FP Black turbo R2 would be fine.

To give you an idea cams ive tested with no agenda to push or sale a product. At the end of the day S3 will make the most power period.

The 2.4LR with twinscroll 6466 I just put together says otherwise. It carries 800whp very nicely out the top to 8k rpm's, while making 665wtq down "low" and out of fuel up top. We stopped their on the torque because that's where ER (English Racing) thinks we should stop on the 100mm crank. Car is going back on the dyno in January to finish up the tune with the fueling issue resolved. ER has also done plenty of cam testing and rec's the R2's for lower revving setup's. Hence why they are in this motor..
