So yesterday I ended up having to get a tow due to a coolant leak, which fortunately ended up being a simple fix. My throttle body coolant hose had split in two while doing a pull on the highway, resulting in dumping all my coolant. I've replaced the hose with standard heater hose from Autozone, which works fine. However, with our cars getting older and racking up the miles (mine is an 03 with 99K), I would think the remaining coolant hoses could use some attention before they possibly fail. I typically don't buy anything from eBay that isn't a reputable brand or has good feedback from the forum. That being said, does anyone have any experience with any silicone hose kits? I'm only really finding 2 kits, Samco and another off brand (TT Racing). Only thing regarding the TT Racing stuff I've found is from the Silvia forums, and it's not much info to go off of. Does anybody have any feedback regarding the TT Racing stuff? Any other kits available besides Samco? I'm a believer of you get what you pay for, but always looking for a good deal But don't want to buy something that might leave me stranded again.
The turbo and throttle body hoses are best to go with OEM, and use the OEM spring clamps. Ensures no leaks, and they're not that expensive. If the original lasted 15yrs, I see no reason to be looking for an "upgrade".
The maintenance schedule reads 5 years or 60 K miles for the hoses. Since my car has done both a couple of times it wears its third set of coolant hoses. Also, all new couplers for the air piping. Its peace of mind when far from home. All oem stuff.
Mishimoto has their own radiator hoses in silicone...no others that I can find from them.
Been running their rad hoses for about a year and a half with no issues. Using factory spring clamps.
I have been using Samco Sport hose products since '99 and continue to because of their quality. Can't go wrong with them and as long as you use the proper clamps they can last longer than some cars.

This. Had the same hose bust on my in 2016 at a track day. Corner after the one at the end of straight thankfully. Was going to replace all the coolant hoses after that day so my procrastination almost cost me. Went with OEM and haven't looked back since.
And if you call them, they have A LOT in stock that they ship next day, and they are usually less than $10 shipping with USPS priority. Can't really beat it.
