how do you set the boost on hks evc?

i installed the hks evc today and it works fine, however it only boosts to 130kpa right now wich is under 19psi, after that it tapers to about 115kpa. wich is about 15-16psi. how do i set a higher boost and how can i get it not to taper like that?

turn the volume knob all the way left (to zero to reset).... then slowly go right on the knob to a little bit more than the original setting you had.... should increase you boost level... im pushing 140 kpa right now.... with boost waring @150

could it be your actuator spring too soft to hold the waste gate shut?

ok i am pretty sure that i got it, but i set the warning at 140kpa and it spiked to 155 for a split second under hard acceleration. it didnt feel like the boost went up so i figured that it was just a quick spike where it did nothing, but is there some way you can stop this from happening?
