Downpipe with ACD


Looking to confirm if this Invidia downpipe will fit on my 05 Evo 8, car has ACD. Thanks

I run the same pipe (2006 RS w/ACD). You will have to lower or remove the 2 subframe bars. I lowered mine!

Nevermind. I just noticed that Tanabe is 2.75", not 3".

Strange they put those bends in and it doesn't clear. How many washers did you need to use to have clearance?

If they put those bends in, why didn't they bend it enough to clear the bars? Goofed?

Make sure those bars can't hit the downpipe during shifts. You don't want knock sensor picking up phantom knocks.

Not sure. Might just be the nature of trying to fit a full 3" pipe through that passage or some Engineer was not using "Solid Works" correctly

You're right. 3" won't clear.
