Wondering if this could be a shifter bushing issue? Have those bushes been replaced? Are you getting any grinding during shifts?

This isn't normal. If you replace clutch, have your tranny opened up and inspected. While it's opened, go ahead and replace synchros.
Are you engaging clutch smoothly in 1st gear?

yeah shifting is smooth as butter its just first gear for instance i could be stationary at a red light and pull of in first and the whole time im in first the stick will shake around and look like its almost going to pull itself out of gear but no noise no grinding sometimes its a little hard to get into fist when moving but not usually and all the other gears shift real nice and smooth

Check for clutch drag. If you put it in first on level ground with the clutch depressed does it roll at all? If you rev the engine does it roll?

What clutch do you have and low many miles on it?

Find out who did the installation and take it back. Any respectable shop would warranty their installation work.

So the guy buys a new clutch, sells the car a couple months later, and now you're having transmission issues. Doesn't sound like a coincidence to me

what happened was the car is from texas and the giy i bought it from is connected with an autotransport company where his good friemd is a driver and delivers and picks up cars all over the country so the evo was at a shop in texas for a few months with the guides on the engine blown and i think the pistons were ****ed so the owner was selling it really cheap because didnt want to fix this mechanic bought it and replaced the clutch and rebuilt the head and then sold it for a prfit to me but like i said im not so sure what this is because it does t really to seem to be a big issue as of right now i just dont want it to get worse or **** up anything else also dont wanna take it to a tranny shop and have them bend me over a barrel because i dont know **** about tranny repair

He didn't touch the transmission gears. Sounds like that needs to be looked at sooner or later. If you wait, it could mess up your new clutch.
