Angry 13.4? Wtf

Can someone tell me whats going on.

I have;

Dynoflash (mail in)
Profect B sepc II (21 PSI to redline 7800)
Type S BOV
3" exhaust (no cat ect)
Cone Type intake

And ran a 13.4 @ 102.4 MPH
with a 1.91 60 FT time

Is that slow or what?

What does a stock evo run in the 1/4 mile?

Not ******* you, but I ran those numbers stock w/ a similar 60 ft and everything. Let me guess: 1/8 mile was about an 8.6 @ 81. I would suggest looking for boost leaks, etc... How's the clutch holding up?

I ran a 13.5 @ 100 on a 2.0 60' stock. Something's obviously not right with your car.

Can you tell us a little more?

What octane gas, what RPMs were you shifting at, do you have a boost gauge, is your BOV venting to atmosphere, is it possible you were knocking?

he hit a 1.9 60', so his driving cant be too terrible. 102MPH is definatelly way too slow for your mods. Something is definatelly up with your car. Perhaps your Mail-in Dynoflash was flashed incorrectly? My second guess is a boost leak. My third guess is too much boost/ running too lean. My forth guess, hot weather and heat soak. My 5th guess, sux 2bu .

Go to the guys at www.dyno4mance.com and have them test your car. Nothing a few runs on the dyno can't reveal. They're in GA so they may not be to far away from you. Awesome facilities.

my 2c,

Don't feel too bad...

I ran a similiar time at LACR which is way way too above sea-level with buschur stage 1... with 2.0 60 ft ....

and i too am running the greddy profec B.... and lets just say I'm really looking for another boost controller

there was another guy at LACR with just bc/exhaust/intake running 13.23.... corrected that's a 12.8 without fuel control.... damn.

Maybe it's a boost leak? Temp, elevation, and humidity also kill performance, so it could be that. Civics must be runiing 18's then .

look into using a HKS EVC5 boost controller.. yeah at LACR i ran my evo and went 13.1@103mph with a 1.767 60ft... 91 octane, stock clutch w/12,000 miles, hks intake, hks exhaust, and hks boost controller.. and on work emotion 18's..

How many runs did you make? Was the car run right after a long drive on a freeway? From my DSM experience, I found that my cars usually ran quickest after it's cooled down. Usually after sitting in the pits after a few passes.
