Okay so I know evos have loud valvetrain but I’m more concerned with this rattling that I hear when revving the engine... It seems too loud and “clanky” to be lifter tick... It’s always done this to some degree but lately I feel like it has gotten louder.
Car has Greddy 264 cams. Idle at 1000. Oil level is perfect, running Amsoil Full Synth. 10W-30. This is on a hot motor.
Car performance is unaffected but I’m just worried this is a warning sign that something is up?
Also, today is pretty hot (first really hot weather the car has seen in awhile) and the car is popping/burbling on decel after downshifts. It never usually pops??

Wrong. Nothing wrong with 10w30. It's what he engine built for in regards to factory bearing clearances.
