Pulling motor on our evo 8. havent been able to find any info on lifting points on motor/tranny. seen straps being used but that makes me nervous and want to leave intake on .New to evos and need some info! Thanks!

 

When i dropped my motor in, i wrapped a chain around the intake manifold and exhaust manifold. It scuffed the valve cover a bit, but did the trick.

My engine has lifting eyes. If yours doesn't, somebody removed them.

 

This. There should be one in the front and the rear of the head.

 

someone had taken mine off... i had to order some new ones...
they worked well
