I pulled mine from the top. Took me about 10hrs and wasnt as bad as pulling the trans by itself. I think If I had to do a clutch in the future I would just pull the motor w/trans from the top again to replace it.

Yeah, I'm curious too. The transmission is heavy so where is the center of gravity when you lift.

So am i, i usually use a thick strap and loop it around the block and trans. Lol

Remove trans and axles.
tie up the t case
pull radiator
Lift engine.

P.S. the head has lifting points attached. Attach chain there. Use a load leveler to made it even easier.
I had mine out in a couple hours, but I'm getting really used to it.

I left trans attached. But I removed hot side and cold side from the head, radiator, and unbolted/mated the TC and moved it towards passenger side.

Load leveler is key because you have to lower the trans side down below the frame rail.
