Rear Differential / quick question

Can I use pennzoil platinum axle oil SAE 75W90 as gear oil in my evo 6?

I would stay with what has been proven. I personally use the Redline as noted in this thread here:

Other member swear by the Mitsu DiaQueen

But, all in all, that Pennzoil would probably work just fine. I just wouldnt use it myself

You can always try it, if you already have some. If results are less than great, then go with something else. It shouldn't kill anything, so trying should be okay. I'm part of the OEM camp and only use Mitsu fluid. I've never had a problem (knocking on wood LOL).
