Need help finding a fitting size!!!!

I’m trying to figure out what size fitting I need for the heater core line that go’s into the drivers side of the cylinder head. I think it’s a M17 but can’t seem to find a fitting that size
that will work with the heater core hose. Has anyone replaced this fitting? If yes what’s the thread size and where did you find the fitting?

It is pressed in. I had mine break during shipping and ended up drilling/tapping a new barb fitting it.

What size fitting did you use and where did you find it? I believe the hole size is 17.5mm

1/2" pipe thread is a smidge bigger than 17mm. Can drill it to size, and tap it for 1/2" NPT.

I'm not sure of the barb fitting specs as it was cover and repaired by the shop that ported my head.

Actually 1/2 NPT is quite a bit bigger. NPT 1/2 is around 21mm, and 1/2 regular thread is around 8mm. I need a fitting around M17x1.25 ish.

The DRILL BIT size is very close to the hole. Drill, tap, send it...

25.4mm (1") x .7031= 17.86mm

You're not going to find a specific fit fitting. That is a custom press for fitting mitsu designed. good luck.
