Yes. The transmission has a fluid port that sends fluid into the front diff. The front diff is inside the tcase. This fluid only goes to the diff though, it does not mix with the gear oil for the tcase ring and pinion.

Always better to discuss using a schematic
I went through this exercise a few threads ago .
Now, the center diff & front diff could possible have shavings so the Trans shop should be made aware of the transmission issue
Sean is correct, in that, the front diff gets its oil from the Trans
Are we on the same page or did i get this messed up, again LOL

It's fine. The transfer port is small. Big chunks wouldn't go through it.

So I'm thinking about sending all 3 big components. The tranny, transfercase and rear diff.
The transmission just get it rebuilt, nothing special but maybe carbon syncrho's not sure yet on that since not a lot of info about that has been out yet for our car.
The transfercase I was thinking about getting the wavetrac but I'm only running 340whp and I don't plan on going any higher and I don't lift my front inner wheel so is there any point in getting the front diff replaced?
As for the rear diff I would like to go the whole shabang with TRE, the oil sight, 12 plate and billet side cover but I would like to speak to him about a couple of things before I ship everything but having him personally email/call you (mind you its only been 3 days) so far seems a little tough to get a hold of.

I like your thoughts on doing all 3 at once. Yeah, TRE is one of the best but its standing room only there & they do not accept phone calls LOL
Might be best to fill out their info sheet & send that in requesting a telephone call ASAP. On that sheet i would tell him, "Hey, would like to do bus w/ya but need to speak w/you via phone"

I think so. I'm foregoing the billet cover because I don't launch my car and make less than 400wtq. Also skipping the cover because I don't mind filling the diff the old-fashion way ,since I only do it once per year ,or so. Cool options ,though. No doubt.

The billet side cover helps get a lot more oil into the diff clutches, helping them last longer. It is is a good mod regardless of car use, drag or road race.
The site glass cover makes it ridiculously easy to properly fill the rear diff. And it ensures you have the proper oil level. Not trying to over fill past the stock fill hole and trying to shove the plug in while fluid runs out. IIRC, this is only $100. And well worth it since you can also quickly check fluid condition through the site glass.
