Exhaust getting hot quickly

hi

first startup today, bought a evo with crashed engine so got no experience from before.

started the car today and it startet straight up, but after 30 sec i see smoke from the exhaust manifold. Stopped the car just to be sure, was thinking it was just wd40. But when i got to check after car idling for 30 sec the manifold was so hot there was no chance to touch it.

noticed after 3 runs for 30 sec and it still was comming smoke that the manifold is cracket, have not noticed this before and is wondering if this could have happen due to the fast heat up? Probaly 400f after that short run

any feedback on this? Turbular exhaust but stock car as far as i know

Tubular manifolds tend to crack. It's pretty normal for a manifold to get to 4-500* pretty quick.

Put the cast oem back on. You can get a torque wrench on every nut and it will last forever.
