Rod bearings.

Hey guys.
i have a stock 03 evo VIII, i was running it on 1.2 bar for 6 months and two weeks back #1 rod bearing went bad.
i had a rebuild with new crank and acl STD bearings and new oil pump.
on the first run the #1 rod bearing went again.
please guide me on what could be the reasons behind this.

pictures are attached.

Was it the same rod?

Big end may be out of round, I would tend to say oil starvation, but I don't see much heat there.

Welcome to EvOM

Understand you have a rod bearing issue but wonder if the block was "aline honed" / truing up the main bearing caps?

When the crank was installed, was there proper endplay recorded?

You need to check the block and girdle and make sure they are within spec.
