This is what my engine sounds like at idle. Evo ix with S2 cams.

i have gsc s2 cams as well but your are very quiet, mine went like 'tick tick tick' you could really notice them, maybe collapased lifters?

A collapsed lifter will wear that valve to valve seat and can break that rocker (or dent the roller bearing) and dent that cam lobe. Must fix.

Lifters will tick at idle as well not just 3000 to 6000 rpm. You should check the oil for any kind of metal residue (just in case)

Running without oil or coolant will seize the engine. If you didn't do that then maybe the engine isn't seized. It could be that one of the accessories or idlers on the serpentine belt has locked. Pull the belt and check if everything spins freely.
