Pressure plate to Flyhweel bolts

Can I use some high grade bolts from the hardware store for the pressure plate to flywheel bolts? I am missing some and I would rather just get all new ones that match instead of multiple different ones.

The only bolts that we know satisfy FFF, (Form, Fit, and Function) are the ones that were tested for use with the clutch kit. Replacing them with misc bolts from the hardware store could work, but is not advised as we don't know if those bolts have been tested with heat, expansion, vibration, and the right hardness in mind.

Best to get a new matching set from the OEM of your clutch kit,

Yeah, stay w/the OEM spec & brand / ARP brand spec.

Cant ensure the quality level at your local HW store Certainly dont need that FW coming loose at 8K RPM

I've used hardware store harware for pressure plate bolts. Good hardware from an actual industrial supply/bolt supplier though. No junk from Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, etc. There's nothing special about them otherwise. Just make sure you buy quality..

Flywheel bolts you should def stick with OEM or ARP.
